Charleston, South Carolina
After
A complete renovation was undertaken by the architect and interior designer to convert this leased by many, but loved by none property to provide its new owner with an urban luxury retreat in the heart of downtown Charleston. This 630 square feet apartment was transformed into a modern condominium with many extra appointments.
Before
The circa 1850s P.M. Clement building (date according to the tax assessors records) in recent years functioned as college student apartments. The 14 apartments (2nd and 3rd floors) were converted to condominiums and sold individually. Unit 201, as most rental property, was worse for the wear from time and tenants.
