Lowrey Design Group is an architectural firm producing excellent design projects in and around Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. These superbly designed projects extend from Ocean Isle, North Carolina to Charleston, South Carolina. Since 1995 the Lowrey Design Group has been a well-respected architectural firm designing single-family, multi-family, commercial and resort projects. These projects embody various architectural styles including Mediterranean, Contemporary, Arts and Crafts, and Low-Country architecture.
Lowrey Design Group is well known for its common sense design approach, as well as its ability to solve complicated design problems in unique and cost-effective ways. They are also known for clear and accurate graphic documentation of its design projects. This results from Bob’s years of teaching computer-aided design at Clemson University and applying those concepts in architectural practice.
Bob Lowrey, the principal architect of the firm, is known as one of the premier architects on South Carolina’s Grand Strand. Bob’s design vision has been cultivated by his broad experience working throughout the United States. He received his Bachelor of Architecture at Louisiana State University and his Master of Science in Architecture from Clemson University. He has project management, design, and drawing production experience in architectural firms in Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and South Carolina.
Bob is a member of The American Institute of Architects (AIA), the South Carolina AIA and South Carolina Grand Strand AIA and has served as past President of the South Carolina Grand Strand AIA. He is licensed to practice architecture in South Carolina. Reciprocal registration has been granted in North Carolina, Georgia and New Mexico. He is also registered through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
